Please pray for my friend and his family. He turned away from God and his church shortly after he turned 16 (after he helped to turn me towards the church). Since, he has struggled with life. We lost touch after high school per his request.
An unexpected phone call from a mutual friend informed me that a week ago he overdosed on drugs and died. Even though we haven't spoken in years, I am still saddened by the loss. We were such close friends in school. He had so much potential.
I pray that God has had Mercy on him. And pray that his family can find some kind of peace in all of this.
