I know a lot of people are probably going to be mad at me for saying this, but hear the story.

We used to go on their walk for the cure events and get corporate sponsorships to raise money for them. Then we found out that they support Planned Parenthood, and certain types of birth control pills. The pill they are endorsing is known to cause cancer, it even has a disclaimer on the box.

IMHO, an organization that is in place to fight something, but supports something that causes what they try to stop, makes no sense.

We boycott this group for the futility of the fund raising and their support of practices that go against the Catholic faith.

There are plenty of other wonderful organizations out there that fight cancer and we regularly do what we can to support them.

I have heard that too. It makes no sense. Why would you push for a cure for something, but then help to propagate something that can cause what you are trying to cure? Are they looking for more test subjects? I hope it is that they just don't know what they are supporting. I hope that their leadership realizes this and moves on.
