Just wondering if there are any good reasons to get my child enrolled in classes at church, and if there is a good age to enroll. She is 5 and is always asking questions.

You might check with your Religious Education Director. I think at our church RE starts at 3 or 4. I remember a church we went to for a while, parents would drop off the kids, go get brunch and come back to pick them up.

In some cases for the little ones they just take them off during mass and bring them back right before Communion. Usually just under Communion age kids, and they will do classes for the older kids after mass.

As for reasons, why do you send your kid to school or home school them as the case may be? It is a time for them to learn about God and to grow in their faith. It also gives you a short break. Some people prefer to teach their kids at home, and others prefer the classes. If you prefer to teach them yourself, check with the RE Director, they might be able to provide you with the material also.
